Dying to Sleep - Movie with Eric Roberts
The Art of Being Dar’, where he will share his creative process in performance art, and experiences in film, tv, business, marketing, sales, and life.
With more than 300 credits under his belt and 46 credits listed on IMDb.com, his deep, rich, and resonant voice has graced the TV screen on some of the hottest shows. He has guest-starred on NCIS: Los Angeles, Scandal, This Is Us, Criminal Minds, Mistresses, Supergirl, Bosch, Silicon Valley, Trust Me, Adman, and many more. He is currently starring in the award-winning pilot for the television series, Words and Actions.
Dar created, produced and directed the documentary/reality television pilot and promo, “ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER”, located in South Central Los Angeles, about their Trauma Unit – which is the largest and busiest in Southern California. It not only garnered attention from major network television executives, but it also helped the hospital to raise more money for their Foundation, than at any time in their history – over 50 years – a record that still stands today.
His Production credits also include Father Pete’s Corner, where he serves as an Executive Producer and star as ‘Father Pete’. This show features characters who live in the imaginary world of Townland. Fun, zany, and ultimately charming, it has been hailed as a combination of South Park meets Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
When off set, Dar is an advocate for Human and Civil Rights. In 2007 he helped fund and produce the Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Concert performed by the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra, where actor Don Cheadle was honored for his outstanding service and contributions to Human Rights for the victims of Darfur.
Dar Dixon is currently working behind the scenes to create his own podcast, entitled ‘The Art of Being Dar’, where he will share his creative process in performance art, and experiences in film, tv, business, marketing, sales, and life.
