On this week’s Armenian Assembly of America Radio Hour, host Mihran Toumajan interviews Roupen Avsharian, Esq.

Host Mihran Toumajan is pleased to introduce listeners to international lawyer Roupen Avsharian, Esq.  They discuss pertinent issues relative to the dire financial and socioeconomic conditions in Lebanon generally and their impact on the longstanding and vibrant Armenian community in Beirut specifically.  Attorney Avsharian is an authority on the history and political influence of the Lebanese Armenian community.  He earned a J.D. from the Western State University College of Law in Fullerton, CA, and an M.A. in National Security Studies from the American Military University in Charles Town, WV.  Attorney Avsharian is a member of the National Security Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section on International Law, in addition to being a member of the Middle East Studies Association.
