Part (2)
For the second half of this week’s Armenian Assembly of America Radio Hour, host Mihran Toumajan converses with the distinguished historian and Director of the Armenian National Institute (ANI), Dr. Rouben Adalian. Dr. Adalian sheds light on ANI’s recently produced Arabic language site, which, along with ANI’s original English as well as Turkish and Spanish language sites, features extensive records on the history and affirmation of the World War I-era Armenian Genocide. In 1993, Dr. Adalian completed a project to document the genocide in the United States National Archives, and, as a result, Chadwyck-Healey Inc. published 37,000 pages of American evidence about the genocide on microfiche. The accompanying 476-page Guide to the Armenian Genocide in the U.S. Archives 1915-1918 was issued in 1994. Dr. Adalian is the author of several books as well as articles in scholarly journals. He earned a Ph.D. in History from UCLA.
