Part (1)
For the first half of this week’s Armenian Assembly of America Radio Hour, host Mihran Toumajan converses with filmmaker Ani Hovannisian on her first feature documentary film, The Hidden Map. The film chronicles Ani’s journey to Western Armenia in search of her ancestral roots. During her journey to the fatherland, she meets Scottish explorer Steven Sim who is on a mission to record cultural vestiges of Armenians’ three millennia-old patrimony. Ani Hovannisian is a member of the Directors Guild of America, the Television Academy, and the International Documentary Association. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA and USC with degrees in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism.
