Part 1 (first 20 minutes):
This week, host Mihran Toumajan of the Armenian Assembly of America Radio Hour, had the pleasure of interviewing two members of the Board of Directors of the Armenian Artists Project (AAP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in San Diego, CA in 2018 by Mr. Jim Mouradick. AAP operates an online digital art gallery to support Armenian artists living and working in Armenia, by providing them with a platform to promote, exhibit and sell their original artwork to a wide international market.
During the first half of the show, Toumajan had an insightful conversation with AAP Board member and head of operations, Mr. Chris Hokokian. Chris started his wealth management practice at Merrill Lynch in La Jolla, CA upon graduating with honors in Business Administration – Finance from San Diego State University. In 2017 he became a partner of the Treadwell – Hokokian Group. Chris also currently serves as the President of Aztec Football Legacy, which helps financially support San Diego State Univ. Athletics. Chris was a four time Scholar-Athlete Award Recipient, Dean's List Award winner, and a Mountain West Conference Champion. Chris was born and raised in Fresno, the heartland of California’s San Joaquin Valley. He resides in downtown San Diego and enjoys dedicating his free time to philanthropic causes and organizations like the Armenian Artists Project.
