The story of the Book – My visit to Armenia during the summer of 2010 Brough back lots of memories. The country was changed and people were different, but when I visited my hometown, Nor Aresh, and walked again on the street where I played and saw the house where I grew up, the feeling was indescribable. Twenty -three years have passed since I came to the United States of America and there I was standing with my two kids, and it felt like I was in a dream. After I came back to the States, I took a trip to my neighborhood bookstore. I was trying to find and Armenian cookbook. I found a few, but it was not quite the cultural food I was looking for. After doing research, I decided to write a cookbook that illustrates my Armenian family’s cooking.
