Tuesday 3/4/25 Part (1)
Mariya Palanjian's interview with Richard Miller
Richard Miller is a graduate of Adolfo Camarillo High School (1972), holds a BA in Biology from UCLA in 1976 and obtained his real estate license that same year. He started as a salesperson and in 1978 closed 1 Million Dollars in real estate. Today that can be just 1 Transaction but back then it was 27 for him.
Also in the same year, 1978, Richard Miller provided property management services because clients wanted professional care for their home, rather than sell it. Most real estate brokerages did not offer property management. What started as a service to his clients, grew into heading up a property management division for a multi office brokerage.
In 1986 Richard Miller founded County Property Management. He filled a niche for owners who wanted to return to their home, the investor who didn’t want to manage the landlord/ tenant relationship and investors who liked the convenience and understood that good property management pays for itself. He was trusted by other real estate brokers and salespeople because he specialized in property management and referred the client back to the broker or salesperson for sales or exchanges. His business is just property management.
