Lawrence Kosick, the co-founder and president of GetSetUp, the largest virtual social learning platform made specifically for people 50+ to learn new skills, stay healthier, and live happier lives.

Lawrence joined his running and cycling buddy Neil Dsouza as a co-founder to GetSetUp to address the growing need to create an empowering and secure digital space for older adults. Lawrence and the other co-founders saw that older adults in their lives from parents to friends were eager to learn new things and thrive in the last decades of their lives, but there wasn't often a space for them to do that. Like many kids, Lawrence was acting as tech support to help his father with device questions like that for his Apple watch. Younger generations have TikTok and Twitch, but there wasn't a space for older adults to learn, grow, and be empowered digitally - hence GetSetUp.

Lawrence and his team realized that older adults have lots of great insights and by bringing on a team that is 40% over 50 and really learning from the demographic that GetSetUp aims to target the company was able to grow rapidly.
