The June 7 episode of "All Things Armenian" featured an interview with Dr. Jerry Burger, Professor of Psychology (retired), of Santa Clara University. He is the author of "The Shadows of 1915," a fictional novel which explores the after-effects of the 1915 Armenian Genocide on Armenians in the Central Valley in the 1950's. It is a story about a displaced group of people and the consequences of real historic events that have rarely been examined in fiction. It is also a story about culture, family, recovery from tragedy, and the nature of justice.
